How It All Began

Joanne started out in a broker practice and saw a disconnect in the way that brokers interacted with their clients.

Most technology platforms sit between the brokers and the insurance companies, focusing on sourcing and quoting with very little communication happening between brokers and their clients.

Realising the potential to engage with clients on a much deeper level, Joanne created the first version of Broker IQ, then known as ReviewIt. ReviewIt dealt directly with clients and their insurance needs.

Passionate about creating a better user-experience for brokers, insurance companies and clients, Joanne, with the help of her team, decided to go a step further. By understanding the needs of brokers and their clients, the Broker IQ platform was born.
